| Great hotel run by great staff. Our expectations were met in full and more and we had a wonderful month at the D-Beach! We really recommend it to people who wish to enjoy good service, a quiet time and beautiful sea view while being in the middle of things when and if they want to be so. |

| A very good hotel. Breakfest was excellent with plenty of choices. location is great. Short walk to the Baht busses that get you anywhere for pennies. Deluxe rooms where huge with salon set. Only complaint is that you have to look through a railing and over the couch to see the TV from the bed. Adding a TV that you can see from the bed would solve this the room is really big. Staff was very friendly and took care of all our needs. Food at the restaurant was good and not overly expensive. The Thai food even when ordered Spicy was not very hot though; a Thai person may have complaints about it. |

| Excellent location. The beach is just over the Road. Rooms are above average. Very convenient to shopping centres. Very nice hotel staff. We got there just in time for the 7-nation fireworks competition, really lucky. It was a spectacular show, and the nice hospitality of the organisers. They gave us a ticket for an excellent place to watch on the beach in front of the hotel. Thanks a lot, Thailand! We will be back again. |

| The service is pretty good - hotel sent a birthday cake for my hubby s birthday, very attentative. Though some of the receptionists are quite slow and not helpful at all. The room is rather lousy - a lot of dust on tables/chairs. The hotel lobby/swimming pool are all quite small, though photos on line is misleading, so be careful about your expectation. |

| No adversed complaint except that there was a lack of prominent signboard in English at the top of the building.Currently the signboard is in Thai. We had difficulty finding our way back at night especially for first timers to Pattaya. |

| The Pattaya Discovery Beach Hotel is one of the best managed hotels I have visited so fare in Pattaya.
The breakfast has been very good with excellent food but the coffee could be of much better quality and taste.
We will visit again next time we are in Pattaya as the position and the convenience of the beach could not be better.
Positive is also the free cost of the internet use in the business centre and the staff in the reception spoke good English to. |

| Great Hotel, but need some repair and maintenance. We got a nice room at the 12 floor with nice view over pattaya beach. Good breakfast and very good swimming pool for children. Little over priced in Resturang and for room.
Had problem with ants and other small animals in the room, but it is normal in Thailand. |

| Clean room, we stayed to 4th floor in a superior room seaview.
Those seaview rooms have communicating doors!
We were woke up by very noisy people next our room at 01:am. Which got fun to slam the communicating door.
I had to inform staff about those people with no manners 2 times before they decide to send security staff to tell to those (...) to be quiet.
We could starting sleeping again at 02:00am.
Others rooms with twin beds have no communicating doors. |

| WOW, My Thai G/F and I stayed only 3 nights at this hotel, but i would reccomend anytime this place. We had a Deluxe room on the 11th Floor and the room was great and large. FANTASTIC VIEW facing the ocean and Pattaya City.
Very nice breakfast with all kind of foods. Really enjoyed that place. Thank you D-BEACH Hotel. |

| This hotel is quite new, and all my friends who were staying there really liked their rooms. I had an executive quite, which was very nice, although the layout was a little odd. The bathroom is very large, with separate shower and tub. The rain shower seemed to have been installed wrong, but that was the only problem with the room. Breakfast was okay. The hotel seems to be meant to be family friendly, with a large kids pool and other distractions. |

| A comfortable well located hotel opposite the beach. The rooms are a nice size and have everything you need. Soi 6 (one street away isn t particularly pleasant though). The breakfasts are fine and alot of variety. Staff are extremetly polite and friendly. Drinks and food hotel reasonable prices for a hotel. |

| Positive aspects:
The hotel was pretty well situated, not far away from beach and within 40 min walk to Walking Street. The rooms, the bed and the bathrooms are big and they look modern at a first glance. They are able to provide other limited services like: booking a taxi, a tour a ticket to a show and they have free internet access in the business centre and in the room.
Negative aspects:
The negative aspects starts from the expectations trhat you have from a 4 star hotel. Usualy for me, they are high enough, that is why my negative comments are a lot. In that respect, on a scale from 1 to 10, I would give to the hotel the mark 4. This means it didn t pass my expectations.
The rooms although big and modern decorated, they needed definetly a reinvestment and a refurbishing and also better cleaning services.
The staff was far away from what I expect from a 4 star hotel: they bearly speak English and they are professional within limits.
At the time of check out I had to point them out a number of expenses that I did and that were not included on the bill and it took for them more than 10 minutes to clear that out. After that, the credit card system didn t work anymore and I had to exchange EUROs at a lower rate in order to pay for the expenses (after I told them that I refuse to go to an ATM and withdraw money from my credit card-as according to my bank rules, this operation is subject to high interest charged on my account). So right before my departure I was left with an important amount of bahts which I had to find some use for them on my way to the airport.
The Restaurant has only limited courses and a very unprofessional service, especially if you need to eat something close to the ending time of their daily schedule. I suspect actually that I was brought something different from what I ordered (I specifically chose a course from the non-spicy items and by the time I ate what they brought I almost had a heart attack ...it was that spicy...I asked quicly for some sugar and 5 minutes later I was still waiting for that sugar. I asked for the bill and I went into my room for the sugar in order to stop the spyciness from my mouth...definitely not a pleasant experience).
The room service: is not that bad if you manage to place your order to a person that can understand you in a reasonable English. One time I had to give up ordering as I was not understand by the lady answering my phone. I was called by a second person in my room and than I placed that order which was basically very simple (I want item R001 and R003, for exemple, from the menu and make sure it is not spicy...The conversation was that simple, but belive me it was really difficult to place).
Breakfast:
I rarely had breakfast and it was complicated to get a cappucino, actually impossible, as that was not included in the breakfast list offered by the hotel.
One day, I went to the bar to order a cappucino. The lady hardly understood my order although I pointed it on the menu that had even a picture (it should have been a simple cappucino). She didn t prepare it at the bar. She left for the restaurant to prepare it. 5 minutes later I was still standing alone next to the bar with no explinations, so I left for my room. The drink was brought there at a later stage and surpise: it had planty of alcohol in it. I didn t drink it.
On top of that you must always bare in mind that you have to pay some extra costs like: 10% service charge (you are always told everywhere in Pattaya that this service charge is for the hotel/restaurant and not for the person who serves you. In addition you pay also a 7% VAT. So you must always add a 17% to your cost that you re bearing in mind by the time you order something).
Tours organised through the hotel: reasonable, but took a long time to get on the same level with the person organising it, although he was a very heartful pearson.
Taxi service to the airport: very good
The bell boys and the tour organising persons were the only one that I felt that were there to help you.
At the time of check out I was not given a receit neither for the euro exchange that I made, nor for the extra costs that I paid by making them attentive to the lack in their system.
Despite all that, never, from any other hotel in the world I was not issued more bills that from the one I staid in Pattaya (I think I have at least 5-6 bills, separated, stating my expenses). They really need to eork on their systems.
Concluding:
Comming from my expectations from a 4 star hotel, I would have dladly paid some more dollars/bahts per night to stay in a better hotel.
Coming from lower expectations I have staid in better 3 stars hotel, that is why I would give a 7 to that hotel, on a scale from 1-10 corresponding to a 3 star one.
I am sure that you can do better, as you can do worse with another hotel. I am sure that your experience in the same hotel may be more pleasant or unpleasant than mine, but if I were to decide to go to Pattaya a second time, I would definitely book another accommodation facility.
As for Pattaya: is the worse place in the world where you should bring children, it is still far away from a family resort (as long as I ll be single I enjoy it, but if I were to go there with kids I would think twice, actually I wouldn t, I would simply pick another resort in the South).
Bear always in mind that the beach in Pattaya is not that big nor that good, it is the entertainment that make s the world spin around in that place and you really have to be up to it in order to enjoy the place. |

| An excellent hotel. I stayed at the hotel with my wife, 15 month old son and my wife s nephew. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and the room, pool and facilities were all excellent. The only minor issue with this hotel is that it is located beside two streets in Pattaya which seemed to be comprised entirely of girly bars (not ideal if you have a young family). |

| I stayed in Deluxe Room for 4 nights, the view was VERY GREAT looked over the whole Pattaya Beach. The hotel was new, clean, beachfront, location good, good breakfast, spacious room, the bed is vy comfortable and huge, free internet. Just the price was bit over. |

| When I check-in at the hotel, it s 2 am in the morning. The night shift staff assited us proceed with all the procedure in a very efficent manner. I would like to thank them again for their efficency.
I made a reservation for a triple room and the room is very specious. Except for the main room with an extra large King size bed. There is also a small size room with a sigle bed, TV & every thing else.
Compare with other same class hotel in Pattaya area. The room sevice menu is pretty expensive. Normaly during my stay at the hotel, I will order some room service but not this time.
There aren t much choice for the breakfast. I had 7 breakfast there, the cold dish and fruits are always the same. And there are only 4 kind of hot dishes to choose. I think they can do better that that.
If you reserved an Ocean front room you definitely will have a great view. But the triple room is located on the rare end of the hotel, so the view is more on the city side.
Over all I would say this hotel is a pretty nice one. There are space for improvment but basicly you won t regret to stay there. |

| What a fantastic hotel, the staff were friendly and helpfull, the position was ideal, and the facilities exellent. I was often one of only a few by the pool every day, and the ammenities were first class. The rooms were clean, and spacious, and cleaned to perfection every day. Every item in the room was first class, and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. This was one of the best holidays i have ever had, and i really did not want to leave. |

| Have stayed here several times and plan to stay again in the future. Good location and good quality for the price. I would recommend get a room facing the South so can get better view. Also, the higher up the better the view. Great pool for the kids. |

| My family which included 3 adults, 2 children and 2 babies stayed at Discovery Beach hotel or D-beach as it is locally known as. We booked into 2 connecting rooms, a superior and a deluxe. The deluxe rm had a bed which could sleep 3. There was also a DVD player. The superior rm had twin beds. Each bed could sleep an adult and a small child comfortably. Breakfast was good and the menu changed daily the 3 days we were there. The swimming pool is lovely and had water slides which the children loved. The hotel is on the beach front. The only downside was that they wanted to charge us for extra towels. Each rm only had 2 towels and extra towels were chargeable at 100baht a day; might as well buy towels. The bathroom had a bathtub as well as a standing shower area. 7-11 stores were nearby and there was a very good coffee shop which sold local food as well as good stone oven pizza. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Discovery Beach hotel. |

| Convenience Location with nice sea view day and night and very good service of the tour guide and taxi service.
Hope shower spray could be improved as no choice for water spray style. I prefer toilet door to be single instead of twin. Water level at slide was a bit shallow but overall swimming pool is ok. |

| the property is well located and has good decor. The service from some staff in the restaurant is excellent and friendly. The room service (house keeping) has a policy of providing only 2 sachets of tea/coffee and nothing more even if willing to pay. I was asked to go any buy from 7/11 if I needed more. Not sure if it is a big deal, but small things can leave a big impact on some customers. |
